Description

Hillside is an 18th-century building located on Sandgate Esplanade. It is two storeys high and features tile hanging on its exterior, topped with a hipped tiled roof. The front has two sash windows with verticals only and Venetian shutters. There is a later addition of a glazed porch and an altered window on the ground floor. At the back, there is a weatherboarded extension. Hillside is part of a group that includes Somerville Lodge, Enbrook Lodge, and Nos 1 and 2 Hillside.
