Description

Dolphin House and Strangway House are an 18th-century building pair that has been altered in the mid-19th century and subsequently. They are two storeys and a basement in height, and are weatherboarded, although No. 115 is now pebbledashed. The roofs are slate and hipped. No. 115 has two sash windows with intact glazing bars on each floor. It features a wooden porch and a set of steps with iron railings to the front. No. 117 incorporates a late-19th-century balustraded wooden balcony and a brick and glass porch. It is also distinguished by spear railings. Each property has a three-light canted bay window to the ground floor. Nos. 115 to 125 (odd numbers) form a notable group.
