Description

No 82 North Road is a building that was originally two cottages, now combined into one house, dating from the 17th century or earlier. The structure is timber-framed but has been refronted. It is two storeys tall with tiled roofs. The front of No 52 features ashlar stone with red brick dressings and quoins, while the north side is made of rubble. No 54 is constructed of red brick. The first floor and roof of No 54 have been altered and modernized. No 52 has two casement windows, while No 54 has three ground floor sash windows with intact glazing bars and modern windows above. Nos 80 and 82 are part of a group.
