Description

These buildings, numbered 151 to 155 Middle Street, were originally built in the late 17th to early 18th century and were later refaced. They are two storeys high and constructed of brick, which has been painted or stuccoed. The roofs are tiled, with a dormer window on each side. The buildings have shaped Dutch gables at each end. Each building has one sash window on each floor, most of which retain their original glazing bars. Number 151 has a later bow window. The doorways have simple surrounds. Number 155 features a modern corner window and a more recent, pedimented doorcase on its side elevation. Buildings 139 to 155 form a visually cohesive group.
