Description

This is a tomb chest dedicated to Smithey T. Spain, who died in 1851. It is located about 30 metres southwest of the Church of SS. Peter and Paul. The tomb chest is made of part rendered stone, which may be reconstituted stone. Originally, it was enclosed by a railing, but the rails are no longer present. The sides of the chest feature fluted pieces adorned with stylised shell ornaments, and the end panels display crossed palms. The top slab is moulded.
