Description

This chest tomb, dating from the late 18th century, is located 25 yards southwest of the porch of the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul. It is made of stone and sits on a moulded stone plinth. The tomb features panelled sides and a flat moulded edge lid. The corners are decorated with gadrooning, and there is low relief carving of an oval urn at the east end. At the time of the last survey, the lid was broken and the sides were cracked.
