Description

There are two headstones located about 2 metres south of the Church of St. Nicholas. One headstone commemorates Richard Blake, who died in 1723. It stands approximately 2½ feet high and features a crude winged death's head motif. The second is a double headstone for Mary and Frances Marsh, dating from the mid-18th century, and they may have been wives of the same person named March. This double headstone is adorned with scallops and palm fronds. These headstones are included for their group value.
