Description
The terrace wall and walled garden adjacent to Winklandoaks Farmhouse date from the mid to late 17th century. The walls are constructed of red brick in "Minster" bond, partially resting on a flint base. The wall at the front terrace, located about 5 meters east of the house, stands approximately 6 feet high on the flint base and features gate piers at the front of the house, which include flint panels and stone capping. This section of the wall extends about 60 meters from north to south. The walled garden, situated to the south and west of the house, measures about 100 meters by 100 meters and also averages about 6 feet in height, with gate piers located at the southeast corner, consisting of clustered piers.
