Description
The stable block and coach house, located about 50 metres north-west of Hull Place, is a 17th-century structure, with the date G.H. 1628 marked in iron ties, and has been altered in the 18th century. The front elevation is made of red brick in irregular English bond, while the rear is weather boarded. It features a plain tiled roof and is a long single-storey building with a half-hipped roof, a central wooden cupola topped with an ogee dome, and a clock face. The front elevation includes a lunette window and ventilation slits. The interior is currently empty and has a trussed rafter roof. There is a wall about 6 feet long attached to the north-east end, and extensive alterations have been made to the converted south-west end. This building is included for its group value.
