Description

Jenkin's Well is a 17th-century L-shaped, two-storey timber-framed house with a brick facade, located on the north-west side of London Road. It features a tiled roof with a wooden eaves cornice and has five windows. Some original 17th-century casement windows remain, alongside later 18th-century sash windows that have been inserted. The east wing includes a shop window that was added to the ground floor in the early 19th century. On the south side, the house displays two gables: one is half hipped, while the other features a shaped stepped Dutch gable. There is also one dormer on the west side.
