Description

MANOR ROAD 1. 1035 (North East Side) Nos 94 and 96 [Formerly listed as No 96 (The Old House, Tormore )] TR 35 SE 5/143 1.6.49. II GV 2. Originally a public house. The datestone of 1774 has been removed. 2 storeys red brick. Tiled roof with 1 dormer. 4 sashes. The ground floor was altered in the C19 by having the doors and windows set in marbled cement surrounds and tile glazing bars removed. The main doorcase has a marbled cement surround of pediment, console brackets and pilasters with 5 fielded panelled door. Right side doorcase with plain pediment-shaped surround. Plinth. Nos 90 to 98 (even) form a group.
