Description

The Rectory is a large 18th-century house located on Rectory Road. It features two parallel ranges and is built of red brick with two storeys. The hipped tiled roof has a parapet. The front facade includes five sash windows with intact glazing bars and Venetian shutters. There is a round-headed doorcase set in a recessed brick arch, flanked by small thin windows. The entrance has a semi-circular fanlight above a six-panel moulded door. A 19th-century addition includes one window at the north end of the building. Beneath the house, there is an old cellar, and the side elevation is tile hung.
