Description

The Yews is an L-shaped 17th century timber-framed building located on Lewes Road in Ringmer. The ground floor is faced with painted brick, while the upper floor is finished with plaster. It features a modillion eaves cornice and a weather-boarded gable at the north end. The building has a tiled roof and casement windows. The doorway on the north front is set in a moulded architrave surround, topped with a flat hood supported by brackets, and has a door with six fielded panels. The structure has two storeys and contains four windows.
