Description
This stable block, dating from the 18th century, is located about 75 metres west of Rowling House. It is constructed of painted brick and features a plain tiled roof. The building is one storey high with a loft, set on a plinth, and has a brick eaves cornice beneath a hipped roof that includes a central hipped joist housing. There are returned gabled wings at both the left and right ends of the structure. The façade has two segmentally headed wooden casements and boarded doors located in the centre and to the right. Inside, the stalls, complete with hay baskets and brick floors, are well-preserved.
