Description

The Thatch is a house dated 1706, located in Goodnestone, Chillenden. It is constructed of painted brick in irregular bond and features a thatched roof. The building has one storey and an attic, sitting on a plinth with a plat band. There are two raking dormers and chimney stacks on both the left and right sides. The front facade includes two two-light opening windows and a central boarded door with a segmental head. There is also a boarded door on the right side of the building. Above the central door, there is a date stone inscribed with "IKB 1706".
