Description

Cliffe House is a circa 1830 house, now converted into flats. It is constructed of painted brick with a slate roof. The building is three storeys high, featuring rendered quoins and a hipped roof with stacks located centrally to the right and to the rear left. The fenestration is regular, with two wooden casements imitating sash windows on the top floor. The second floor has a central glazing bar sash window. The first floor features three glazing bar sashes, with the central one set within a keyed round-headed surround. Two bay windows lead to a central door consisting of six raised and fielded panels, framed by a double pilaster surround and a cornice. The door is topped by a parapet with ball finials.
