Description

Cliffe Cottage is a house from the early 19th century, rendered with a slate and tiled roof. It stands two storeys high on a plinth, featuring a ramped parapet and chimney stacks at both ends. The front has a regular arrangement of three sash windows on the first floor and two on the ground floor, all with shutters. The central entrance door has six panels, a rectangular fanlight above, and a flat hood supported by brackets, framed by a moulded door case. At the back, there is a large later addition with a two-storey canted bay and glazing bar sashes. The name "Cliffe Cottage" is inscribed on a scroll above the door. The building is included for its group value with Holly Lodge.
