Description
School House is an 18th-century building that was altered in the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and has a slate roof. The house features an additional wing and part of it has been modified in the Goodnestone Estate style. The building is two storeys high with stacks located at the rear left and at the end right. On the ground floor, there is a two-light Dering window to the left, along with two glazing bar sash windows. The first floor has a Dering window and a glazing bar sash. The central entrance door consists of six raised and fielded panels, with the top two being glazed, and it is topped by a flat hood supported on brackets. The left return wing is entirely early 19th century and made of brown brick, featuring Dering windows. The interior retains many details from the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
