Description

The Cottage is an 18th-century house that was altered in the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick with a plain tiled roof. The building was later altered in the Goodnestone Estate style. It is two storeys high with a garret, featuring a dogtooth eaves cornice to the roof and stacks to the left, to the rear left, and to the right. The gable has a single-light Dering window, while the first floor has a two-light and a three-light Dering window. The ground floor has two three-light Dering windows. The left return features a kneelered gabled porch with a rib and stud door, and a single two-light Dering window is located at the end of each floor.
