Description

Forge Cottage is a house from the early 19th century, built in brown brick with a slate roof, reflecting the Goodnestone estate style. The building has two storeys set on a plinth, featuring a dogtooth eaves cornice. There are lozenge-shaped stacks located at the rear left and right. To the right, there is a projecting wing. The main range has two two-light Dering windows on the first floor and one three-light Dering window on the ground floor, while the wing has one three-light Dering window on each floor. The entrance features a central rib and stud door framed by a four-centred arched architrave within a round-headed opening on imposts.
