No. 42 King Street is a timber-framed house from the early 16th century, which has been altered in the 18th century but still retains the overhang of its first floor supported by a bressummer. The building has two storeys and features a gable. The front is plastered and includes one sash window with intact glazing bars, as well as a six-panel door.
