Description

Pear Tree Cottage is a house that dates from the 16th century and was extended and clad between the 17th and 19th centuries. The building features exposed timber framing with plaster and painted brick infill, as well as sections that are fully clad and extended with painted brick. The roof is covered with asbestos and plain tiles. The cottage is one storey high on a plinth, while the left side has two storeys with a hipped roof and a clustered central chimney stack. The windows are arranged irregularly and include four wooden casements, along with a central glazed door that has sidelights.
