Description

The White House is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is built of red brick and features a slate roof. The building has two storeys and a parapet on its hipped roof, with tall stacks at both the left and right ends. The windows are arranged regularly, with three glazing bar sashes on the first floor and two on the ground floor, all featuring gauged cambered heads. The central window on the first floor has a key stone above it. The central entrance door is made up of six raised and fielded panels and is topped with a flat hood supported by brackets, surrounded by a moulded door frame. To the right of the main house is a long single storey service wing, also covered with a slate roof.
