Description
The Mill House is a house dating from the late 17th century and mid 18th century. It is constructed of red brick with a plain tiled roof. The rear elevation and the right end bay show much older brickwork. The house has two storeys on a plinth, with a plat band on the right end bay. It features a gable on the left and a half-hipped roof on the right, with a stack located in the centre right and another at the end left. On the first floor, there are two glazing bar sash windows and a central oval window. The ground floor has two glazing bar sash windows with cambered heads and a central door made of six raised and fielded panels, topped with a pediment on pilasters. The right end bay includes one wooden casement window on each floor. There are single and two-storey ranges that adjoin to the right, forming a linking wing to the White House.
