Description

Nos 20 and 22 on New Street are two early 17th century cottages, which may have older structures behind their facades. They are two storeys high and have three windows in total. The cottages are made of brick with a stone and flint base and are colour washed. The eaves have lead guttering. Number 20 features a string course above the ground floor, sash windows on the first floor with intact glazing bars, and a small 18th century fixed shop window that retains all its glazing bars. These cottages are part of a group that includes Nos 14 to 26 (even).
