Description
Keeper's Cottage is an estate cottage built in the late 19th century. It features red brick with blue diaper patterns, along with flint and pargetted plaster. The roof is plain tiled, and the building has one storey and an attic. The structure is gabled with a central stack and includes a projecting wing that has pierced barge boards. An oriel window is located in the gable, and there is a glazed and panelled door with a four-centred arch. The main block has mullioned and transomed windows with label hoods, and there is a pentice-roofed oriel on the right return. A 20th-century extension has been added to the rear. The design of the cottage is influenced by the cottages designed by Devey in the area.
