Description
Keeper's Cottage is an estate cottage built around 1850 for the Bedford estate. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, featuring white brick dressings and a tiled roof with a channelled brick stack at the front and a paired stack at the rear. The building is L-shaped, consisting of one storey and attics. The front elevation facing the road has a gable to the left, which includes a square bay on the ground floor and two windows. The right side elevation has one window in the gable and an oriel window on the first floor. The left side has a recessed centre with a gabled porch that has a finial and pendant, leading to a plank door. There is a projecting bay to the right with a triple mullioned and transomed window, and a projecting wing to the left.
