Description

This building is an outbuilding, which was once used as stables, located about 20 metres north of Santon Farmhouse. It dates from the 16th century and early 18th century. The structure is made of red brick with a slated roof. It stands two storeys high on a plinth, featuring a hipped roof with an outshot to the right and a large crow-stepped gable to the left. The left return wall is built in irregular bond. There is a stack on the left side. The building has two loft doors with deeply recessed surrounds, along with two wooden casements on the ground floor and a central boarded door with a segmental head.
