Description

Nos. 138 and 140 on Canterbury Road are a pair of cottages dating from around 1800. They are constructed of flint with red brick dressings and feature a thatched roof. The cottages were built in two stages and are single-storey with a hipped roof. The eaves line is at two different levels, stepping up to the right. There are stacks located to the left, centre, and right of the buildings. Each cottage has three shuttered horizontally sliding glazing bar sashes and boarded doors positioned to the left and right.
