Description
Coldred Manor is a house that dates from the 18th century, with early 19th century rebuilding of a 17th century or earlier structure. It features a red brick exterior and a plain tiled roof, with a flint wing at the rear left and a tile-hung wing at the rear right. The building is two storeys high with a basement, set on a plinth, and is constructed in part with English bond brick. It has a brick eaves cornice beneath a hipped roof, which has a returned hip to the left. There are stacks at the end left and clustered and projecting stacks at the end right. On the first floor, there are two wooden casements to the left and two glazing bar sashes to the right. The ground floor has two large segmentally headed glazing bar sashes and a central door with six fielded panels, a semi-circular fanlight, and an open pediment supported by pilasters.
