Description

Lydden Court Farmhouse is a mid-18th century house constructed of red and blue brick, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building consists of two parallel ranges and features two storeys and a basement set on a plinth, with a garret and chimney stacks at both ends. The façade has a regular arrangement of three sash windows on the first floor and two segmentally headed sashes on the ground floor. The central entrance door has six raised and fielded panels, topped by a traceried fanlight within a keyed semi-circular surround. This entrance is accentuated by an open pediment supported by attached columns with entablature blocks. There is also a basement opening to the right.
