Description
Wellington House is a house from the 18th century, built in two stages. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and a parapet above the hipped roof, with chimney stacks located to the left and centre right. The original design included a regular arrangement of three glazing bar sash windows with cambered heads on the first floor and two on the ground floor. The central entrance door consists of six raised and fielded panels, topped with a semi-circular fanlight, and is accessed by a flight of five steps with a simple iron railing. The house has been extended to the right, where there is one cambered headed glazing bar sash window on the first floor and a canted bay with a basement opening. The rear of the house features hipped wings.
