Description

This is a mid-19th century building, originally a convent, constructed of stock brick. It is three storeys high with a basement and features three dormers. The facade has six original sash windows with retained glazing bars, and three brick pilasters. The ground floor has two doorcases. The left doorcase features a cornice with modillions, plain pilasters, a rectangular fanlight, and a panelled door. The right doorcase incorporates a porch with a cornice, two fluted Doric columns, two pilasters, and a moulded architrave. Steps lead up to the street, and there are area railings present. The building forms a group with Nos. 2 to 8.
