Description

Nos 34 and 36 on Castle Street are mid-19th century buildings that stand three storeys tall with a basement. The upper two floors are covered with modern tiles, while the ground floor is finished in stucco. The roof is hipped and covered with slate. The façade features three sash windows with intact glazing bars, a three-light canted bay window, and two additional sash windows with balconettes on the first floor. There are two round-headed doorcases, each supported by quarter Tuscan columns, leading to a six-panelled door. The property is enclosed by spear railings. Nos 16 to 58 (even) form a group with these buildings.
