Description

No. 5 St James's Street is an early 19th century building that stands three storeys tall with a basement. It is constructed of brown brick, featuring red brick relieving arches. The roof is hipped and tiled, with a parapet and stone coping. The front facade includes four sash windows with intact glazing bars and brick heads. There is a plinth and a rusticated door surround that frames a rectangular fanlight above a six-fielded panelled door. At the rear, there is a later 19th century two-storey extension made of red brick, which has a hipped roof and sash windows.
