Description
These two properties, at numbers 9 and 10 Castle Hill Road, date from the early to mid-19th century. They are three storeys high with a basement, built of stock brick with a rusticated stucco finish to the ground floor and basement. The roof is slate, hipped, and features two dormers. Each property has two windows. Number 9 retains its original sash windows. A decorated cast iron balcony is positioned at first-floor level. The doorcases are simple in design. Number 9 includes a flight of steps leading up to the street and a recessed one-storey section on the right side, featuring a single window. Numbers 9 to 13 form a group of buildings.
