Description

Nos 3 and 4 Lauriston Place are mid 19th century buildings that stand three storeys high with a basement, constructed from stock brick. They feature a stone parapet and a stringcourse. The front has four sash windows with intact glazing bars. The round-headed doorcases are adorned with semi-circular fanlights, also with glazing bars, and each door is a six-fielded panelled design. Decorative cast iron balconettes with an Anthemion motif enhance the façade. There are steps leading to the street, and the area is enclosed with spear railings. Nos 1 to 11 Lauriston Place form a group.
