Description

Nos 5 and 6 Lauriston Place are a pair of houses built around 1835. The front is made of yellow brick, while the side elevations are constructed from flint with yellow brick lacing courses. The houses have a slate roof with yellow brick chimneystacks and stand three storeys tall with a semi-basement. Each house features one window on the front; the second floor has 9-pane sash windows, while the ground and first floors have 12-pane sash windows. There is a parapet with stone coping and spear railings, with doors located on the side elevations. No 6 has a six flush panelled door and a rectangular fanlight. These houses are included in the listing for their group value.
