Description

Nos 43 and 45 Strand Street is a house and shop dating from the 18th century. It is three storeys high and has three windows, constructed of red brick. The building features a rubbed brick cornice and a parapet above. There are brick architraves over the ground and first floor windows, although the glazing bars are missing. A Victorian shop front is located in the north-west corner, which includes pilasters and panelled glazing with four panels in each window. Two windows remain on the west side, and these still have complete glazing bars. Nos 33 to 45 Strand Street form a group.
