Description

Harfleet House and Dragon Hall House, located at 39 and 41 Strand Street, is a timber-framed building dating from the 14th, 15th, and 16th centuries that has been restored. The first and second floors overhang at the ends of the floor joists and bressummers, featuring curved braces and plaster infilling. The ground floor has been rebuilt in brick and includes modern casement windows with lead lights. An internal courtyard is surrounded by the building on all sides. Nos 33 to 45 (odd) form a group.
