Description

32 and 34 Strand Street is a 16th-century timber-framed building that has been altered in the 18th century and later refaced. It retains the overhang of its first floor supported by a modernized bressummer and renewed brackets. The building has three storeys and two windows. The ground floor is finished in red brick above brown roughcast. The roof features two hips, and there are sash windows with intact glazing bars. At the rear, there is an original red brick gable. The main roof is tiled, with a pantiled catslide roof at the back. Nos 30 to 34 (even) and Dolphins Quay House, along with a gas lamp and bollards, form a group.
