Description

Nos 1 to 3 The Butts are late 18th century timber-framed cottages that stand two storeys tall with slated roofs. The first floor features painted feather-edged weatherboarding, while the lower part is rendered to imitate stone. Each of the six windows has glazing bars that create 16 squares. The cottages have recessed porches with hoods. Nos 1 and 3 have four-panel bead flush doors, while No 2 has a flush door. There is also one battened door. The side elevations are weatherboarded and tarred.
