Description

Nos. 6 and 7 The Butts are a pair of 18th-century cottages made of rubble stone, featuring stone tiled roofs and end wall stacks. They are one-and-a-half storeys tall and have two dormer gables, each with 2-light recessed chamfer-moulded mullion windows and hoodmoulds. On the ground floor, there are central paired doors in a chamfered surround, with the door to No. 6 blocked. To the left of No. 6 is a 2-light mullion window for No. 7, and to the right is a 3-light mullion window for No. 6, both under hoodmoulds that have labels at the outer ends only. No. 6 features a 20th-century stone tiled extension with a door, while No. 7 has a 19th or 20th-century extension with Bridgwater tiles.
