Description

The Ship Inn is an L-shaped building from the 18th century. It has two storeys, with the west wing covered in stucco and the north wing finished in weatherboarding. The roof is hipped and tiled, and there are four sash windows, some of which still have their glazing bars. The north wing features a curved window with three lights on both floors. At the angle of the L, there is an outside staircase that leads to a wooden balcony and a doorway with double doors, topped by a small flat hood. The doorway is accessed by two steps with a handrail. The Ship Inn is part of a group with Nos 17 to 19, which are consecutive properties.
