Description

Norfolk House is an early 19th-century building located on the west side of East Street in Herne Bay. It stands three storeys tall, with attics and a semi-basement. The ground floor features a wooden front that is painted to resemble rustication, while the upper part is made of painted brick. There is a bracket eaves cornice and a half-hipped slate roof that includes one dormer. The building has one curved window on both the ground and first floors, and the glazing bars are intact. Norfolk House is part of a group with No 2 East Street.
