Description

Forge Cottage and Street Cottage are a pair of cottages, likely dating to circa 1795, set back to back. The front of the cottages is weatherboarded. Forge Cottage has a hipped tiled roof, while Street Cottage has a hipped slate roof. Forge Cottage has two windows, and Street Cottage has one window. Street Cottage features a large shop window with glazing bars, though this window is not original. Forge Cottage and Street Cottage form a group with several other nearby properties: Church View, Leo Cottage, The Risings, No 4 Hill Cottages, Horninglow Cottage, Hill Cottage, Street House, and Chapel Cottage.
