Description

This 18th-century dovecot is located 15 yards north of Temple Cottage on the west side of Canterbury Road in Godmersham. It is timber framed and covered in red brick and tile hanging, topped with a plain tile roof. The dovecot has an octagonal shape, featuring a birds' entrance in an octagonal lantern. There is a semi-circular arched opening to the left at the base of the brickwork.
