Description

This is a 17th-century dovecot located 30 yards southeast of Loseley House. It is constructed from galleted sandstone rubble, featuring red brick quoins and dressings, and has a hipped roof covered with plain tiles. The dovecot measures 15 feet square and is approximately 20 feet high, topped with a square wooden lantern that serves as an entrance for the birds, under a tent-like top. Access to the first floor is through a pointed arched door on the left, which is reached by a flight of external stairs.
