Description
Bakery House and Evern House is a house and former shop dating from the mid-19th century. The house is built of red brick and features a plain tile roof. It has two storeys and a cellar, with a gabled roof that has a projecting end stack on the left side. The first floor has three sash windows, while the ground floor has two sash windows with gauged heads and a six-panelled door to the right, which is flanked by pilasters and topped with a cornice.
The former shop is constructed from chequered brick and also has a plain tile roof. It has two storeys and features an eaves bracket cornice leading to a hipped roof with a right end stack. The first floor includes two sash windows with gauged heads. The 19th-century shop front has fluted pilasters, plate glass windows, and recessed double doorways, along with an awning and hood above.
