Description

This is a 17th-century barn that has been converted into a garage, located about 20 metres west of Redbur in Mersham. The structure is timber framed and weatherboarded, topped with a hipped roof covered in plain tiles. It features two 20th-century garage doors and a boarded door on the right side. Inside, the barn has three unaisled bays with a tension-braced frame and arch-braced gunstock jowled posts. The clasped purlin roof has been renewed. This building is included for its group value.
